"If there are term limits for the president, why are there not term limits for members of congress"

It does not seem to make any difference which individual or party that I vote for - government just keeps getting bigger and spending more tax dollars.  In my opinion, it is because long term, career politicians have figured out how to manipulate the system in order to stay in office for their own benefit.  Bigger government gives them more power, influence, and money. 

One of the ways I believe the American public can achieve real change in government is to vote the incumbents out of office.  Once the politicians realize that voters control their destiny and not special interests, perhaps, we will begin to see a more responsible form of government.  The "new guys" may lie, cheat, and steal also but they will not be as good at it.  J
